Healthy Meals for a hearty day!

Here at GOYZ we pride ourselves in producing healthy centric content for our health and fitness lovers! This week we want to spotlight some of our favorite dishes that take less than an hour to prepare. Below I'll show you the ingredients used for each recipe as well as some pictures of the dishes before I devoured them. I'l show you a breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert so that if you chose to make these dishes as a full course day kind of deal you'll have all the information you need. 

Breakfast

This is a great breakfast dish to get your day starte. It has lots of good carbs and sugars to give you some morning energy and a fresh and healthy boost to your day. This dish includes:

  • Eggs
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Rasberries
  • Potatoes
  • Red & Green Bell Peppers
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Onions

Lunch

Now that you've gotten your day started on the right foot it's time to really eat a good hearty lunch to keep you pumped until dinner. Here is where you want to eat your heaviest meal of the day. This dish includes: 

  • Brown rice
  • Watermelon Salad with pecans, watermelon, spinach, kale and vinegar
  • Pineapples
  • Vegetable stir fry with broccoli, peas, corn, green bean, carrots and red peppers

Dinner

Okay, we've finally made it to dinner! I usually suggest eating a lighter meal for dinner so that you're not packing on too much weight before bed. Here's one of my fave dinner dishes that feels me up but is not too fattening. This dish includes:

  • Carrots topped with parmesan cheese, herbs and garlic cloves
  • Brown rice & spinach
  • Black beans
  • Raddish

 

Fruit dessert

Dessert

Let's not forget dessert!  If you have a sweet tooth like me then desssert may just be your favorite meal of the day! What I suggest closing the night is somethign sweet but healthy. Some people say eating fruit at the end of the night isn't a good habit but I say eat away! I'd prefer fruit over cake or something else unhealthy. This dish includes: 

  • Pecans
  • Strawberries
  • Cherries
  • Blueberries
